Dr. Florian Wilhelm is a Data Scientist from Cologne, Germany. He studied applied mathematics and computer science at the University of Karlsruhe. Subsequently, he earned his PhD at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in numerical simulation and optimization of climate models on HPC clusters. Since 2012, he has been a working as a Data Scientist on real-world customer projects for Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics and in the evaluation and development of machine learning algorithms.
Florian Wilhelm programs mostly with the Python Data Science stack (NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, Matplotlib, Jupyter, etc.) to which he has also contributed several extensions.
