Ralph studied medical computer science in Heidelberg, Germany. After woking as a staff scientist at the European Molecular Biology Lab in Heidelberg he switched over to the biotech industry, heading the IT department of a biotech company in Dresden. Since 2003 Ralph works as a freelance consultant mainly in the area of molecular biology, mainly supporting customers in building up highly customized laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
Besides being a digital worker Ralph has been trained as a body therapist and practices yoga and meditation in his spare time.
